Apple today approved PHP Commercial Painting’s Employee App for iOS. The August 14, 2026 approval follows the start of internal employee testing of PHP’s Android app on August 4.
The iOS version provides the same PaintWorks functions as the Android app, bringing PHP’s employee tools to Apple’s mobile platform.
The Same PaintWorks Tools
Employees can upload photos to jobs, clock in and out, view job addresses, complete training modules and read company notifications. Authorized employees can also arm and disarm PHP’s alarm system through the app.
Developed by Chief Technology Officer Joshua Herbison, the employee app brings these everyday PaintWorks tasks into PHP’s own mobile application.
Offline Photos and Time Entries
Like the Android version, the iOS app supports job photos and clock-in and clock-out entries when an employee does not have internet access.
Photos are saved on the phone for upload to the job, and time entries are recorded locally. When cellular service or an internet connection returns, the app synchronizes those updates with PaintWorks.
That capability gives employees a way to document work and record their time without waiting for connectivity. Today’s Apple approval marks another step in PHP’s employee-app rollout, with the same core functions built for both Android and iOS.
