PHP Commercial Painting’s estimators moved into a dedicated Estimating Office today, April 23, 2026. The new space accommodates up to seven people, giving the department more room for estimating, phone calls and collaboration than the previous office, which could fit a maximum of three.

More Room for the Work
The previous estimating office had become a constraint. With space for only three people, it left little room to expand the department or give estimators the space they needed for phone calls and everyday work.
The new office provides larger desks, additional monitors, space to review plans and more storage. Keeping the estimating team together in a larger room also makes it easier to compare project details, ask questions and work through estimates with colleagues.
Acoustic panels are part of the setup, helping address sound in a room where several estimators may be speaking with general contractors and reviewing projects throughout the day.
A New Purpose for the Studio Addition
The room behind PHP’s conference room was originally planned as a studio addition. After the company secured additional office space next door, PHP decided to use the room behind the conference room as the new Estimating Office.
That change gives estimating a dedicated workspace while allowing PHP to make better use of its expanded office footprint.
Space to Grow
Capacity for seven people gives PHP room to expand beyond the limits of its former three-person office. It also gives the current team more space to work without waiting for another move.
The new office supports the tools estimators already use, including PHP’s own PaintWorks Takeoff system, which launched on March 19. Developed by Chief Technology Officer Joshua Herbison, the system connects painting takeoffs and estimating details directly to job records in PaintWorks.
With today’s move, PHP’s estimating team has a dedicated space that better supports both its daily work and the company’s plans for growth.
